Student. Scientist. Engineer.
I am a PhD student in the University of Arizona Wyant College of Optical Sciences. I specialize in medical imaging, diagnostic technologies, and biosensors. I am passionate about increasing global access to healthcare by developing cost-effective, point-of-care solutions.
I completed my Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University with the Duke Center for Global Women's Health Technologies under Dr. Nimmi Ramanujam. Hear my reflections after my first week in GWHT here.
I spent Summer 2019 modeling the tumor microenvironment to better understand how T cells are more or less attracted to different types of cancer. Hear more about my experience in MSRP here.
